        Q&A

        Q.
How do we save our date?
        A.
There is a non-refundable 50% deposit required to save your date. It can be sent when you both sign the e-contract. As soon as I get both the signed contract and the deposit the date is officially yours! Reserved & Done!
        Q.
        How do we pay you?
        A.
Venmo, PayPal, Square Cash, or simply by check. The remaining balance is due no later than a week before the wedding. That ensures that by the time the wedding happens there are no business matters to deal with, and we can just focus on your day!
        Q.
When do we see the photos?
        A.
I will get them all finished in about 3 weeks, if not sooner. It fluctuates with the season. I process through weddings quickly but don't let the turnaround time think that quality is sacrificed. I love to take several days to focus solely on your wedding so I'm able to get a lot done in a short amount of time. Plus, you don't want to wait over a month to get your photos back!
        Q.
How many photos do we get?
        A.
It all depends on your wedding. If you have a bigger, longer wedding with a lot of drinking and dancing then there will always be more photos from that then if you had a shorter wedding where no one danced. Make sense? Also, if you add a second shooter to your package then that usually adds 150-250 more photos to the mix just based on what I use from what they shoot. However, if I'm shooting alone I will not usually deliver any less than 500 images on a standard wedding. I average around 600-800, but I have delivered around 1,000 or more before. Again, it's not a one-size-fits-all answer. It all depends on the details of your specific wedding.
        Q.
What do you wear to weddings?
        A.
I wear a black t-shirt, black jeans, and black athletic shoes. I do this to distinguish myself from the guests and still stay comfortable. Most of my weddings are 10+ hours long so wearing fancy clothes all day looks good but doesn't feel good since I'm usually really active and tend to move around a lot. I can definitely dress-up if that is preferred. I have black polos and button-downs so just let me know, it's no problem at all.
        Q.
        Do you travel for weddings?
        A.
Of course! I’d love to go wherever you guys want! I shoot domestically and internationally! Weddings requiring flights, rental cars, or overnight lodging will be charged accordingly. Gas reimbursement is required for local weddings.
        Q.
        What gear do you use?
        A.
A pair of Canon 5Dmk3's and all prime lenses. I primarily use 24, 50, and 135mm all day.
        Q.
        Do you have insurance?
        A.
Yes! All my gear is insured, and I have personal liability insurance as well. Let me know if your venue requires some proof of insurance, and I can send that right over!
        Q.
        Do you watermark?
        A.
        No. Never.
        Q.
        Favorite part of a wedding?
        A.
Probably the first look whether it's before or during the ceremony. It's a moment holds so much meaning. When it's pre-ceremony, I always encourage brides to never rush through it. I tell them to take time with each other to laugh, hug, pray, or just talk. It's the last time they'll be alone together all day. Wedding days can so easily turn into a production, and that's what I fight against every weekend. When the first look is at the actual ceremony, I love the grand reveal. The moment when you two see each other for the first time is such beautiful culmination of an entire relationship. It all comes together in one moment. All prior stress from planning and details just fades away and what's most important is made so clear.
        Q.
